During a tip-off about the sale of e-cigarettes at a Seven-Eleven store near Girda Pir, the CM Flying’s team conducted a raid. The CM Flying team discovered e-cigarettes and other tobacco-based substances during the operation. The police seized the banned items and took them into custody. The shopkeeper mentioned during questioning that young men and women often consume these cigarettes.
SSP Sher Singh reported that various boxes of different types of cigarettes were found inside the shop. These included 50 boxes of Black, three of Mond Pan, three of Easy Light, two of Easy Gold, two of Mond Variance, and one box of Strawberry. Additionally, various other cigarette boxes were confiscated, none of which had any warnings.
The shop owner, Sahil Dheeman, couldn’t produce any government documentation or license permitting the sale of these cigarettes. Sahil resides in Old Bahadur Chand Colony in Karnal. Meanwhile, the CM Flying team has prepared a report and sent it to headquarters for further action.
