In alignment with the Jaipur Music Stage (JMS) of the Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF), the iconic Clarks Amer hotel has been associated with the festival for a decade, hosting the festival in its entirety for three years. The hotel has played an integral role in shaping the festival and influencing how literature and art enthusiasts perceive it. Simultaneously, the hotel has grown alongside the festival, creating a blend of culture, functionality, and aesthetics.
Dharmendar Kanwar, a well-known food and travel writer, expressed, “The warmth with which everyone at Clarks greets you is unreplicable. I have been a frequent visitor to the different restaurants at the hotel, and it is always nice to be acknowledged and greeted by your name. They are a people-centric establishment and really value guest relations. Looking forward to attending JLF at Clarks this year as well.”
Over the years, the JLF has evolved into a cultural phenomenon, with Clarks Amer providing robust support through its grandeur and meticulous space planning. Nestled within the expansive green Clarks compound, the festival arena offers immersive and engaging sessions. This year, the individual session spaces have also been expanded.
Tripti Pandey, a Tourism Expert and Author, remarked, “Moving to a bigger space was much needed for JLF. Clarks is a greener venue within a larger space, which helps people move around easily and navigate the sessions better. You are not jostled or stuck; you can easily break away and take a breather. At the same time, it is easier to reach the venue, and parking is effortless as well.”
