CISF PROMOTES 1,104 ASIs TO SI RANK AFTER 6-YEAR TERM

As many as 1104 assistant sub-inspectors were promoted to the rank of sub-inspectors after the completion of their six-year service under the directions of DG, CISF, at the CISF Headquarters in New Delhi on Monday.

A promotion-cum-pipping ceremony was organised wherein CISF DG Sheel Vardhan Singh put ranks to the effected sub-officers. Nina Singh, ADG (HQr), Arvind Deep, ADG (North), P S Phalnikar, ADG (APS), Prateek Mohanty, IG (Pers) and other senior officers of CISF were also present during the ceremony.

To implement this transformational agenda, the officers and staff of CISF Headquarters pursued hard and maintained liaison and coordination with MHA for promoting the force personnel.

Keeping in view the COVID guidelines of social distancing, only a few effected sub-officers were invited from Delhi-NCR units and IGI Airport for putting their rank on promotion during the ceremony. DG, CISF and other senior officers of CISF present during the function put ranks to these sub-officers by maintaining due social distancing norms and all safety precautions.

DG Sheel Vardhan Singh congratulated the promoted sub-inspectors and their family members. “Regular promotions to the personnel go a long way in enhancing our capabilities and also motivates other personnel to improve in their tasks and aspire for similar promotion,” he said.

The DIG also advised the newly promoted sub-officers to acquire required knowledge and skills to shoulder their new assignments in a befitting manner.
