The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has issued an order on Monday, announcing revised timings for schools across Kashmir effective from April 12, 2024.
According to the directive, schools within the municipal limits of Srinagar district will operate from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
For schools located outside the municipal limits of Srinagar, as well as in other districts and areas of the Kashmir province, the new timing will be from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The DSEK emphasized strict adherence to these revised timings by all educational institutions, cautioning that any deviation from the prescribed schedule will be treated seriously.
The change in school timings aims to streamline operational hours and ensure uniformity across educational institutions in the Kashmir division.
