Chandigarh Police has arrested a former PGI doctor. The accused has been arrested from Kerala. The accused doctor is accused of raping a woman nursing officer of PGI. The accused doctor has been identified as TN Rajesh Kumar, a resident of Kerala.
A police official said that the police investigated the complaint of the woman. All evidence was collected by the police. The accused was also asked to join the investigation, but he did not join the investigation. The police then had to arrest him.
The victim woman personnel told the police that the accused doctor used to work in the Dental Department of PGI. In 2018, he moved back to Kerala. There he opened his private clinic. He came to Delhi in the year 2022 and met her.
Talking about getting married, he made physical relations and took Rs 1.5 crore to set up the hospital. When she started asking for money back from him, the latter stopped picking up the phone.
When the Chandigarh police asked the accused to join the investigation, he refused. A police personnel arrived at his clinic as a patient. Other police personnel were waiting for his action. When this doctor came to see the patient, the police team arrested him in Kerala.
