Deepa Dubey said that when the visit was made again this morning, the women had brought their small children for a checkup, but due to the cold, the women wrapped their children in shawls, due to the cold wave, the family members also There was no proper arrangement for this.
Chandigarh Mahila Congress President Deepa Dubey has appealed to Administrator Banwari Lal Purohit that just as a waiting hall has been made outside the emergency of Sector 16, similarly a waiting hall should be made outside the maternal and child ward to protect from cold, which at least 200 people can sleep. There should be a place for people to sit and just as rain shelters are being built all over Chandigarh, a similar shelter should be built towards the maternal and child ward so that the families accompanying the pregnant women can get relief from the problems of cold in the maternal and child ward. Speakers should also be installed outside the maternal and child ward by the administration so that the families sitting outside can hear the announcement.
In the end, Mahila Congress President Deepa Dubey has appealed to the administration and said that the pregnant women of the city and their families should be the first priority because the mothers who give birth to the future of the city and the country and their families need to be provided with proper arrangements in the hospital. An order should be given to the administration officials and a residential shelter or a temporary roof should be installed outside the mother-child OPD as soon as possible so that the small children and their mothers do not get troubled by the cold of morning and evening.
