CBSE 12th & 10th Board Exam Date Released; starts from 15th February 2024

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has unveiled the datesheet for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams of 2024. More than 35 lakh students are expected to take part in these exams, which are scheduled to be held from February 15th to April 10th, 2024.

This announcement aligns with the board’s previous statement regarding the commencement date for the CBSE board exams in 2024, spanning an estimated duration of around 55 days and concluding by April 10th.

For the most recent updates and detailed schedules, students are advised to regularly check the official websites, cbse.nic.in or cbse.gov.in.

Traditionally, the board releases the datesheet approximately 1 to 1.5 months before the start of the examinations. In the academic year 2023, Class 10 exams ended on March 21st, while Class 12 exams were extended until April 5th.

CBSE board exams are anticipated to be conducted in a single shift, starting at 10:30 a.m. and concluding at 1:30 p.m.

Earlier this year, the Ministry of Education in India declared that starting from the academic year 2024–25, board exams for classes 10 and 12 will be conducted twice annually. This significant change aims to alleviate exam stress and provide students with more flexibility and opportunities to enhance their scores. However, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has clarified that students won’t be compelled to appear for Class 10 and 12 board exams twice a year.
