Late actress Carrie Fisher was posthumously awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on May 4, also known as Star Wars Day.
Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd, attended the ceremony and expressed her gratitude to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for the honour.
Lourd also spoke about how much the award would have meant to her mother, who passed away in 2016.
Lourd shared a childhood anecdote about how she initially found her mother’s coolness embarrassing, but eventually came to realise that no one could be as “hot or as cool as Princess Leia”.
