‘Can’t find me? What gimmick Modi ji?’: Sisodia jibes at PM Modi

The circular has been issued by the federal agency against deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia and other suspects in the case as the CBI ramps up its investigation into the Delhi liquor policy. This comes after Friday’s 14-hour-long search at Sisodia’s house. Following that, a FIR was lodged against more than 10 people, including the deputy chief minister of Delhi.

The circular now emphasises limitations on Sisodia and others’ international travel. According to a report, this allows immigration authorities to “be warned in case somebody travels out of India.”

The Delhi deputy CM tweeted at Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday morning in a striking jab at the federal administration. “All your raids failed and you found nothing… now you have issued a lookout circular that Manish Sisodia can’t be found,” his tweet read.

“What is this gimmick Modi ji : I am roaming freely in Delhi. Can’t you find me? Please tell me where to come?” he added.

Sisodia and other AAP leaders have said that the CBI investigation indicates the Center’s strategy to bring Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, to justice. The BJP and AAP are in a worsening political impasse over the Delhi liquor policy.

Arvind Kerjiwal’s party has once again claimed that the central agencies are being misused while the BJP is in power. The Delhi deputy chief minister shared an old clip of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on CBI abuse. The video was originally released when PM Modi was Gujarat’s chief minister.
