BSF troops seize 8.39 kg gold worth Rs 5.29 crore within two days

According to a BSF statement, the South Bengal Frontier BSF troops made two significant gold seizures in the last two days, taking away 8.39 kg of gold valued at Rs 5.29 crore. According to the official statement, the watchful jawans of Border Outpost Vijaypur, 32 Battalion, BSF, carried out a meticulously organized operation predicated on reliable intelligence and thwarted the attempt to smuggle gold at the international border in the West Bengali district of Nadia. They also apprehended a smuggler who was in possession of 19 gold biscuits and one gold brick. DIG AK Arya expressed happiness over the jawans’ accomplishment and stated that in just two days, BSF jawans had apprehended two people and seized 8.39 kg of gold valued at Rs. 5.29 crore.
