Inspector General of Border Security Force (BSF) Jammu, DK Boora, reiterated the commitment of the security forces to safeguard the civilians residing along the international border area of Jammu. Speaking to the local populace, Boora emphasized the importance of farming ahead of the fence while adhering to all regulations, as farming in those areas does not necessitate frequent visits.
Boora assured the residents that the BSF is dedicated to ensuring their security at all costs. He emphasized, “If you think you will not be able to harvest due to the situation, I want to assure you that if you won’t be able to harvest, we won’t even let them to harvest on their side.” Addressing concerns about potential threats, Boora stated, “Don’t worry about the enemy, we are there for you. You have seen in recent incidents when they (Pakistan) attempted to target us, they were given 10 times reply by us. They will be given this reply in the future as well.” He assured the residents that the enemy will not even be able to touch them under the vigilant watch of the BSF. Boora’s remarks underscore the unwavering commitment of the Border Security Forces to protect civilian lives and maintain peace along the international border in Jammu.
