Brij Bhushan said, “POCSO Act is being misused; we’ll force government to change law”

Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the head of the Wrestling Federation of India and a BJP member who is accused of violating the POCSO Act, stated on Thursday that the law is being “misused” and that “we will force the government to change it.”

At a conference held here to discuss plans for a gathering of seers that Singh had summoned for June 5 in Ayodhya, Singh was speaking to reporters. He stated that 11 lakh seers would attend the rally.

Olympic medalists Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik, as well as other prominent wrestlers from the nation, have been conducting a sit-in at Jantar Mantar in Delhi since April 23 to call for Singh’s arrest for allegedly abusing seven female competitors, including a kid.
