A significant fire erupted at the food court on the fifth floor of the Acropolis Mall in Kolkata on Friday, prompting the deployment of multiple fire engines to extinguish the flames.
According to reports, there have been no casualties reported thus far. Visitors inside the mall when the fire broke out were reportedly guided out through thick smoke by authorities.
Approximately 10 fire brigade vehicles have arrived at the scene, and efforts are currently ongoing to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire, which affected a section of the mall, remains unclear at this time.
