Two schools in Tamil Nadu recently faced bomb threats, causing fear among students, staff, and parents. The schools involved were the PSBB Millennium School in Coimbatore and a private school in Kancheepuram district.
The PSBB Millennium School received a threatening email on Sunday night, while the second school received a hoax call on Monday morning. Prompt action was taken by the police and a bomb squad, who quickly arrived at the PSBB Millennium School to conduct an investigation. Fortunately, no explosives were found on the premises.
A video taken outside the PSBB Millennium School showed police questioning individuals, and empty school buses entering the campus. Authorities are currently investigating to determine the source of the threatening email and hoax call.
Given that class 11 exams are ongoing, the police have stepped up security at both schools. Only individuals who have undergone thorough checks are being allowed entry onto the premises.
