In commemoration of the Chaar Sahibzaade of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the Thalassemic Charitable Trust, in collaboration with the Rehmat Foundation Chandigarh, is organizing a Mega Blood Donation Camp. Partnering with the Department of Transfusion Medicine, Anatomy, Ophthalmology, and the Regional Organ & Tissue Transplant Organisation (ROTTO) at PGIMER Chandigarh, the event is set to take place on 30th December 2023 (Saturday) at Dussehra Ground, Sector 43-A, Chandigarh.
The day will feature a Gurbani Kirtan Darbar from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM, followed by a light sound show starting at 5:30 PM. The event extends beyond the blood donation camp, offering a range of activities such as medical checkups, exhibitions of religious books and articles, free plant distribution, millet, and naturopathy at the Jodmel. Throughout the day, Guru ka Langar will be served, providing a communal dining experience.
Shri Rajinder Kalra, Member Secretary of the Trust, appeals to citizens to participate in this religious occasion, seeking blessings while engaging in the various activities available at the camp.
The Thalassemic Charitable Trust has been consistently organizing Blood Donation Camps since 1985 in collaboration with the Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER Chandigarh. These efforts aim to ensure a steady supply of blood for Thalassemic and other patients in need of critical blood support.
