Blast in Chembur: 10 Injured in LPG Cylinder Explosion in Mumbai

Ten individuals sustained injuries in an LPG cylinder explosion in Mumbai’s Chembur area on Thursday. Emergency responders arrived promptly after a 7:30 am call reporting the blast. KV Shirke, Senior Station Officer at Chembur Fire Station, mentioned that a thorough investigation is in progress. “We received a report of an explosion at 7:30 AM.

Upon arrival, we observed significant damage to the structure and discovered two domestic HP (LPG) gas cylinders, one of which was leaking. Our team is actively investigating the incident to determine its cause,” said Shirke. Further updates on the matter are awaited as the investigation continues.
