BJP will do best in UP, Punjab: Raj Kumar Chahar

BJP Kisan Morcha National President Raj Kumar Chahar says that in the upcoming assembly elections, the party will perform well in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. In an exclusive interview with ITV Network, he claimed that Congress’s security would be forfeited in 95% to 98% seats in Uttar Pradesh.

Regarding Punjab, he said that BJP is making a new beginning in the state and will enter the election with a strong base. On the issue of central agricultural laws, Chahar said that the people, who have never done anything for the farmers, were calling them black, whereas, in reality, these laws are golden and in the interest of the farmers.

He said that after the independence of the country if anyone started the work of bringing about a positive change in the lives of the farmers, it was the former Prime Minister Lt. Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He said that those who were opposing these laws have yet to tell what is black in them. they even ran away from the discussion during the Parliament session while the government wanted him to give suggestions on these.

Responding to a question, he termed the Lakhimpur Kheri incident as unfortunate and said that it is being probed and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath does not compromise on law and order. In this case, also the victims will get full justice. Targeting Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, he said that Priyanka is doing politics over deaths. Raj Kumar Chahar said that an SC man was lynched to death in Rajasthan, Rahul-Priyanka did not tweet on that. Priyanka is doing politics only on the dead bodies of Hathras and Lakhimpur Kheri.

He said that Congress has no land in UP and no matter how much politics Priyanka does, Congress will have to face a crushing defeat. Replying to another question, the BJP Kisan Morcha President said that the party leaders are being prevented from going to the people in a planned manner in Punjab, but they will win over the people by telling them the truth and benefits of the three agricultural laws.

He said that some people want to spoil the atmosphere of Punjab on the issue of these laws, but BJP will not allow its peace to be disturbed. He also said that the path of progress of the country emerges only from the prosperity of Punjab. He also said that the central government is for the farmers and farmers, but the parties which are against the ideology of the BJP, their supporters involved in the farmers’ movement are not willing to allow the issue to be resolved. Those people are doing political agitation.

Chahar said that the government is seeking suggestions through talks, but they were not even ready to give suggestions.
