BJP to finalise guidelines for 2024 manifesto 

BJP top leaders are now finding new agenda for the coming Lok Sabha poll in 2024.For the first time issues of building Ram temple in Ayodhya, abrogation of article 370 and banning of triple talaq may not figure in the election manifesto. All these issues are implemented by Narendra Modi Government in last eight years. Top leadership of the party is now deliberating on new issues to be projected for the upcoming elections. Suggestions are being given on the ‘Love Jihad’ issue. BJP may promise a nationwide ban on love jihad. Apart from this global image of the Country under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi will be major focus. India is hosting G 20 summit for the first time in India. BJP is planning to propagate massive campaign on India’s Presidency of the summit. 

Mayawati rejects ANY alliance with Congress

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has sent greetings to Mayawati on her birthday recently. Congress was hoping to rope in BSP in Uttar Pradesh for the next Lok Sabha polls. Being a leader from dalit community Kharge was perhaps expecting a positive indication from the UP dalit leader Mayawati. But on her birthday Mayawati has openly announced that she has no intention to tie up with any other political party including Congress. She would prefer to go alone in both Lok Sabha and Assembly poll. Mayawati even has not responded to the Kharge’s appeal for joining Bharat Jodo Yatra which will be concluded in Srinagar on 30 January. 

Change of heart of Kapil Sibal

One of the protagonists of G-23 leaders of dissident Congress leader Kapil Sibal has recently praised Rahul Gandhi for his Bharat Jodo Yatra. He was most vocal leaders among the dissidents about the functioning of Rahul Gandhi in party matters. In fact he left Congress party accusing Rahul for giving enough attention for the party. As Rahul started his Bharat Jodo Yatra Kapil told some media persons that Rahul Gandhi has been able to connect with cross section of the people during Yatra and it is commendable. Kapil is now an independent MP with the support of Samajwadi party in Rajya Sabha.
