CP Joshi, the state president of the BJP, expressed gratitude to the Election Commission for fixing the election date in the state on 25 November. He also alleged that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is openly violating the Model Code of Conduct. He stated the CM went to meet Sonia Gandhi in a government vehicle with a government official during his Delhi visit. CP Joshi said that the Chief Minister’s views on the Central Investigation agencies and BJP candidates are reflecting his fear of defeat. BJP State President said, “This time, his entire political career is at stake in the election. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has only given the people a corrupt government.”
He also slammed Gehlot over the issue of corruption saying, “Paper leaks, millions of rupees and gold bars found in their own ministry, not allowing the ACB to function independently, not granting approval in serious criminal cases, embezzling funds from central schemes, allowing mining mafias to openly practice loot, providing expensive lawyers for accused in paper leak cases, imposing weak charges in the Gopal Keshavat case, becoming members of organizations like RPSC by paying money, all these corruption cases expose the truth about their government.”
BJP state president CP Joshi questioned, “Why the central investigation agencies can’t come?” He stated that the Chief Minister is afraid because every connection of corruption is reaching the Chief Minister’s office. Joshi said, “The Congress’ government of lies and loot has been exploiting the people for the past five years. Their legislators are questioning, “How can we face the people because the government has not fulfilled any of its promises?” For satisfaction, they are made members of boards at the last moment. They know that the departure of our government is certain. That is why they are being made members of RPSC while leaving. Remember, after the Bharatiya Janata Party comes to power, no corrupt person will be spared.” BJP state president CP Joshi said that their candidate is the lotus flower. The candidate is only a symbol. The people of the state have also made up their minds that this time, the people’s support is with the BJP’s name and the symbol of the lotus.
