BJP prepares to hug new voters for 2024

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has devised a new plan to win the 14 Lok Sabha seats it lost in 2019. Local leaders have been instructed to prepare reports based on caste and social analysis for these Lok Sabha seats. Using these reports, the BJP will conduct campaigns to unite the communities that are not aligned with the party. Furthermore, the BJP has also embarked on creating a list to include Opposition candidates who lost these Lok Sabha seats in the party.
The party has decided to include candidates who ranked third or fourth in panchayat and Lok Sabha elections into the BJP.
In 2014, the BJP won 73 seats in Uttar Pradesh. In contrast, the Opposition only managed to secure seven seats. In 2019, the BJP was only able to win 16 seats. Even among these, it was proven through the Ramapur by-election that the BJP can win challenging seats.
Now, there are only 14 such seats left, which the BJP needs to convert from Opposition-held to its own. These include Rae Bareli, Lalgunj, Sambhal, Muradabad, Mainpuri, Gazipur, Ghosi, Shravasti, Amroha, Bijnor, Jaunpur, Nagina, Saharanpur, and Ambedkar Nagar Lok Sabha seats, which the BJP couldn’t win. The BJP’s goal now is to gain a foothold in these contested seats. Efforts are also being made to persuade former Opposition MPs.
