BJP MP affirms family’s 60-year legacy, supports farmer protest

BJP MP Brijendra Singh from Hisar has said in a stern tone that whether the party exists or not, his family will contest elections from Uchana. Because his family has been contesting elections from Uchana for 60 years. Therefore, the question of them contesting elections should not even be asked. While expressing indirect support for the farmer agitation, he said that due to the lack of any outcome from the MSP committee formed by the central government after the previous agitation, farmers have come out in protest over some issues.

If any class is talking about increasing their income, who wouldn’t agree with that? It is hoped that the matter between the government and the farmers will be resolved. Meanwhile, speaking on the Agni Veer scheme of the government, he said that while the army may benefit from this scheme, the beneficiaries of this scheme do not benefit because the duration is short. He has also raised this issue in Parliament. On the other hand, former MLA of Uchana and Brijendra Singh’s mother Prem Lata Singh said that they are waiting for the decision of the court regarding whether JJP will contest from Uchana or they will contest. Both leaders arrived to participate in the program organized on the 143rd birth anniversary of Chhotu Ram Dharamshala in Rohatak. After the program, both leaders were talking to journalists.

MP Brijendra Singh said that in Haryana, BJP had to form an alliance with JJP out of compulsion. BJP is paying the price for it. He said that his family has been contesting elections from Uchana for 60 years. Now whether the party exists or not, his family will definitely contest elections from Uchana. He said on the farmer agitation that after the previous agitation, the central government had talked about implementing MSP through a committee, which has not yet been decided.
Indirectly supporting the farmer agitation, he said that if any class talks about increasing income, who wouldn’t agree with that?
