BJP leader slams Gehlot for OPS scheme deception

Dr Prabhu Lal Saini, the state vice-president of the Bharatiya Janata Party and former minister, has said that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has once again deceived the employees in the name of OPS. He said that so far, Rajkumari Jain, a retired employee of the education department, who is being promoted as the brand ambassador of OPS, has not been able to avail all the benefits of OPS. He said, “It has been proven that the state government is once again playing with the emotions of employees and giving false assurances in the name of OPS for its political gains.”
Saini said that even with the promotion of the education department, Rajkumari Jain, who has been retired, has been deceived. He said, “The government recorded videos with her to enhance its image, published advertisements in newspapers with her photos and ran a statement by Rajkumari Jain on the Information and Public Relations Department’s Twitter handle.
Now it has come to light that when she retired, Rajkumari Jain used to receive a salary of Rs 87,000, but now she is only receiving Rs 13,500 as a pension.
If this is the current state of the government’s plan with the brand ambassador of OPS, what might be happening with regular employees?”
