BJP launches ambitious campaign in Punjab ahead of 2024 elections

In a strategic move leading up to the 2024 elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has rolled out an extensive campaign in Punjab, aiming to penetrate every village and city in the state. The initiative focuses on highlighting various schemes implemented by the central government for the welfare of the public. Commencing the drive, 112 vehicles, labeled as part of the “Vikasit Bharat Yatra” (Developed India Journey), were ceremoniously flagged off from Chandigarh. Punjab Governor Banwari Lal Purohit presided over the event, symbolically initiating the campaign by hoisting green flags on the vehicles.
Each vehicle, prominently displaying the “Vikasit Bharat” (Developed India) board and equipped with a sizable LED screen, is set to traverse the length and breadth of Punjab. The LED screens will play informative films elucidating various government schemes aimed at benefiting the citizens. The launch event was attended by BJP General Secretary Rakesh Thakur, who emphasized that this campaign seeks to raise awareness among the public about the pro-people schemes introduced under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Thakur further expressed the BJP’s commitment to ensuring that the benefits of these schemes reach every household in Punjab. The symbolic gesture of initiating the campaign with green flags and the LED displays aims to make people across the state familiar with the developmental initiatives undertaken by the central government.This bold move is part of the BJP’s larger strategy to engage with voters at the grassroots level, fostering a deeper connection with the electorate in the lead-up to the crucial 2024 elections.
