The top spot on the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) list of 40-star candidates for the November Mizoram Assembly elections goes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Along with the party’s national president JP Nadda, other names on the list are Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Kiren Rijiju, Smriti Irani, and Arjun Munda. Among the well-known advocates are Rajeev Chandrashekar, MoS Nityanand Rai, and BJP leader Sambit Patra. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled its second list of nine candidates earlier on October 18 in anticipation of the upcoming Mizoram Assembly elections.
