JAIPUR: BJP’s State Vice President Shravan Singh Bagri has issued a statement saying that after the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct in the state, as per the directions of the Election Commission, in the last 16 days alone, drugs, alcohol, and cash worth Rs244 crore have been seized. The statement read that during the five-year rule of the Congress government in the state, there has been a thriving business of looting, smuggling, and money laundering, however, no action has been taken against them by the state government. In this situation, the determination of these smugglers and money launderers remains so strong that even after the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct, their work has not stopped. He said that this has proved that so far, no action has been taken against them due to the state’s lax law and order situation.
