A case has been filed against 4 YouTubers including Manish Kashyap, a so-called journalist from Bihar, for spreading false and misleading news of Tamil Nadu violence. As per authorities, the investigation against him is also going on in connection with 26 social media posts.
One of the accused has been arrested in the case under the sections 67, 153, 153 (A), 153 (B), 505 (1) (B), 505 (1) (C), 468, 471 and section 120 (B) have been imposed on Manish Kashyap. On March 6, an FIR was registered against 4 people including YouTuber Manish.
The video in which bandaged laborers were seen was uploaded by BNR was later posted by Manish Kashyap on his Twitter handle. On the basis of investigation, it was found that the fake video was uploaded by Rakesh Ranjan, a resident of Gopalganj.
