Jammu, March 02: Jammu-Srinagar National Highway has been blocked due to standstill at Mehad-Cafeteria, Dalwas, and Mosspassi areas of Ramban due to a massive mudslide triggered by heavy rainfall. The entire stretch of NH-44 is affected by the debris, causing significant disruptions to travel.
Senior Superintendent of Traffic Police, Rohit Baskotra, National Highway, issued a stern advisory, urging people to refrain from undertaking journeys on NH-44 until the weather improves and the road is cleared. Travelers are encouraged to stay updated with the latest information from the Traffic Control Unit (TCU) regarding the status of the highway.
