Raje maintains a distinct faction within Rajasthan politics. Despite her significant popularity, she showed relatively low interest in the general elections, which proved to be detrimental to the party. Delhi is poised to address the ongoing factionalism in Rajasthan.

The decision regarding Raje’s role will be closely observed by stakeholders. She did not get along with the other faction which included Om Birla, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Arun Singh, Chandrashekhar. This faction removed Satish Poonia before the assembly elections and made CP Joshi the president against his wishes. This caused more harm than benefit to the party. One of the reasons for getting fewer seats in the assembly and then the Lok Sabha elections was factionalism. However, Bhajanlal Sharma got the benefit of being in the Birla faction and became the Chief Minister, because the person whom the PM had considered had lost the elections. Then Home Minister Amit Shah gave Bhajanlal Sharma a chance on Birla’s recommendation, but this did not work.

Delhi’s interference and bureaucracy distanced the leaders and workers from the party. The party did not pay attention to social engineering.

In the rest of the states also, the same faces were given a chance, which were considered certain. After the formation of the government in Delhi, the party will get a new national president by June. After JP Nadda takes oath as minister, the acting president will be announced in a day or two. After the announcement of the national president, the party will also do a big operation in Rajasthan and recharge the workers again.
