The case of throwing corrosive chemicals on a young woman has come to light in Bagru. In Bagru, the 21-year-old victim was being harassed by the miscreant Shahzad Quraishi for a long time.
He was forcibly trying to marry her. When the young woman refused to marry the youth, the miscreant became angry and threw corrosive chemicals on the woman on 22 October. This resulted in severe burns to the young woman’s back. On this matter, the BJP has once again criticised the Congress.
Former Chairperson of the Rajasthan Women’s Commission, Suman Sharma, issued a statement and said that while the whole of Rajasthan is worshipping girls during Navratri, in CM Gehlot’s reign, chemical attacks are being carried out on young women. Sharma said that the most brutal example of the helpless law and order in the Congress’s rule is that miscreants did not spare anyone from 5-year-old unconscious girls to women over 60 years. She said, “An example of this can now be seen in the Bagru area. There, a miscreant carried out a chemical attack on a young woman, and even after two days of the incident, the police have not been able to arrest the accused.” She said that after this incident, once again the policy of appeasement of the Congress has come to light. She added, “No statement has been issued by Congress leaders nor has the police administration arrested the accused.”
