Badminton Asia C’ships: Rohan-Sikki advance to pre-quarters stage

On Wednesday, the Indian mixed doubles team of Rohan Kapoor and N Sikki Reddy advanced to the pre-quarterfinals of the ongoing Badminton Asia Championships 2023.
They defeated the Malaysian duo of Chan Peng Soon and Cheah Yee See in the round of 32 on Wednesday, 21-12, 21-16. “XD teammates Rohan and Sikki begin pre-quarters.” Wonderful start to the day!

The men’s doubles duo of VS Ravikrishna and Sankar Prasad, on the other hand, were defeated 12-21, 17-21 by the Malaysian duo of Man Wei Chong and Kai Wun Tee in the round of 32. Ashwini Bhat and Shikha Gautam won their round of 32 match against Meilysa Trias Puspitasari and Rachel Allessya of Indonesia by scores of 22-20, 12-21, and 18-21.
