Bade Miyan Chote Miyan teaser: Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff Promise a Thrilling Action Spectacle

With just three months left for the release of the highly anticipated film “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” featuring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, the filmmakers are actively building anticipation around the project. On Wednesday, the first teaser of the film was unveiled, promising audiences an exhilarating cinematic experience.

The teaser of “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” kicks off with a masked figure forewarning of imminent danger to India. However, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, portraying soldiers in the movie, emerge as the defenders determined to safeguard the nation from the looming threat. The teaser features the duo declaring, “Dil se soldier, dimaag se shaitaan hain hum. Bachke rehna hum se, Hindustan hain hum.” The video provides glimpses of high-octane action sequences, asserting that the “real action heroes are back.” Their adversaries include a masked villain portrayed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, who ominously warns of catastrophe amid images of explosions and chaos.

The film’s background score bears a resemblance to the 1998 movie of the same title, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda. “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” is both written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and has been shot in diverse locations such as Scotland, London, India, Jordan, and the UAE.

Ali Abbas Zafar expressed his enthusiasm about the teaser, stating, “Extreme hard work and commitment of shooting in multiple countries with the most talented crew from different parts of the world has gone behind bringing Bade Miyan Chote Miyan to the audiences and who better than Akshay Sir and Tiger, India’s original action heroes who would translate the challenging sequences so effortlessly and yet root the film to its target mass audience. More than thrilled to bring this film for their fans and audiences on big screens on Eid April 2024.”

Prior to the teaser, the filmmakers had released a motion poster and a film poster, showcasing Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in their impressive avatars. Apart from the leading duo, the cast includes Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chillar, and Alaya F. This pan-India action-drama is produced by a team that includes Jacky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani, Ali Abbas Zafar, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Himanshu Kishan Mehra, and Sarwar Mohammed.

Jacky Bhagnani, one of the producers, aspires for “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” to be India’s answer to the Fast and Furious franchise, emphasizing the combination of large-scale action and character-based comedy. He stated, “When it comes to Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, I thought, I want to make India’s Hobbs & Shaw, I want to make India’s Fast & Furious – large scale action, with comedy amongst the characters rather than in the plot.”

Despite sharing the title with the 1998 film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda, the new “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” has no connection to its predecessor. Bhagnani clarified, “It has nothing to do with the old film but there’s a reason why it’s called Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. There is a very interesting twist in the film, which may act as an ode to the old Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.”
