Haryana Assembly Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta laid the foundation stone of a community center on Friday. The Panchayat Department will build the center in village Khet Parali at a cost of about Rs 47 lakh. Sarpanch of Khetpurali, Sarita Sharma, and Executive Officer of Panchayati Raj Vikas Rana were also present on this occasion. Addressing the villagers, Gupta stated that the community center, to be constructed by the Panchayati Department, will be ready in six months. He emphasized the need for toilets in the community center and boundary walls all around. Gupta insisted on using good and high-quality materials for construction, stating that no negligence will be tolerated. He also pledged to provide funds from his voluntary fund if Rs 47 lakh is insufficient for the community center.

Gupta highlighted the government’s main objective of providing basic facilities to the common people, including electricity, water, and road facilities. He mentioned the significant improvement in electricity supply, with Haryana now receiving 24-hour power supply. Gupta also noted the completion of National Highway-73 after ten years of pending work, costing Rs 1100 crore.

Moreover, Gupta shared details about upcoming developments, including the construction of an AIIMS for Ayurveda in Panchkula at a cost of Rs 500 crore. He mentioned the completion of a National Institute of Fashion Technology worth Rs 200 crore in Sector 23. Gupta expressed pride in having facilitated development works exceeding Rs 6000 crore in the district. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ushering in a new chapter of development in the country and the state. Gupta acknowledged Chief Minister Manohar Lal’s efforts in bringing uniform development to the state.

He highlighted various initiatives, such as the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Dhan accounts, and Ayushman Card, aimed at providing support to the poor and needy.
Gupta concluded by emphasizing the importance of national interest over family, caste, district, or village affiliations. He praised Chief Minister Manohar Lal for eliminating the caste system in the state by promoting the slogan “Haryana, One Haryanvi, One.”
Various local leaders and villagers, including Barwala Mandal President Gautam Rana, former Chairman Ashok Sharma, and others, were also present at the event.
