Arrest of 3 Fugitives/Declared Offenders in Theft and Other Cases

Today, the PEO and Investigation Staff apprehended 3 fugitives/declared offenders involved in theft and other cases.
Hari Om Sharma, Inspector/In-charge PEO, and Investigation Staff provided information, stating that a police team arrested 3 fugitives/declared offenders. The accused, declared offender Sher Singh from Ratangarh village, Pehowa police station, Kurukshetra district, was apprehended in a car theft case at Industrial Area Phase 1 police station.
During the trial of the accused in the theft case, he remained absent in court. The court had declared him a proclaimed offender. The accused was arrested and presented before the court, where he was remanded into judicial custody. The second accused declared offender Suraj Pal alias Sahil from WUS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh, was arrested in a stolen auto case. The accused, who remained absent during the court proceedings, was declared a proclaimed offender and arrested. He was presented before the court and remanded into judicial custody. In the third case, the accused Gurpreet Singh from Khuda Lahora, Chandigarh, and the current Kacchi Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh, was arrested. The accused was involved in a mobile phone and purse snatching case. The case was registered against the absent accused in court, and he was arrested, presented before the court, and remanded into judicial custody.
