On the fourth day of the nomination process in Jaipur, Archana Sharma submitted her nomination as a Congress candidate. Sangeeta Beniwal was also present during the nomination process. Archana Sharma is contesting elections as a Congress candidate from Malviya Nagar for the third time.
Out of the 19 constituencies in Jaipur district, 13 candidates have submitted their nomination papers so far. Candidates have four more days to file their nominations, with the deadline on November 2, 3, 4, and 6. No candidate has filed nominations from Kishanpole, Hawa Mahal, Viratnagar, Shahpura, Chomu, Dudu, Jamwaramgarh, Civil Lines, and Chaksu.
On the same day, 151 candidates submitted 195 nomination papers for 105 Assembly constituencies out of the total 200 in Rajasthan. So far, 241 candidates have filed 301 nomination papers in the state. Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta mentioned that 32 candidates with criminal records have submitted their nominations. Candidates are required to provide information about their criminal records by filling out Form C-1, which will be published and broadcast three times through news channels and newspapers.
