Central Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur attended the Viksit Bharat Resolution Journey organised in Tahliwala. On this occasion, the Union Minister said that the Viksit Bharat Resolution Journey is working to provide information and facilities to millions of people in the country.
Anurag Thakur said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central government has set a goal to make India a developed and self-reliant nation by the year 2047, under which the Viksit Bharat Resolution Journey has been launched.
The Union Minister said that awareness is being raised among people about the schemes of the central government through a mobile van.
He said that under the Viksit Bharat Journey, people are benefiting from schemes like security insurance, Ayushman Bharat card, PM Awas Yojana, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, and other schemes.
During this, he said that for the convenience of the people, medical camps have also been set up during this resolution journey, where free check-ups and distribution of medicines were done.
Thakur informed that this journey will continue until January 26 and will go to various places in different states of the country, not only making people aware of the schemes being run for the public interest of the central government but also registering eligible beneficiaries for the scheme during this period.
