In a case of fraud, the police have registered a case against Anil Singla, accusing him of duping people of lakhs of rupees under the pretext of a fruit orchard. The case was filed based on a complaint by Satish Gupta, a resident of Panchkula, which prompted the police to initiate an investigation. SHO Simarjeet Singh Shergill provided information, stating that Anil is accused of proposing a business deal to Satish for establishing a fruit orchard. However, when Satish declined and did not involve his nephew in Anil’s business, Anil allegedly took a loan of ten lakh rupees initially and then an additional two lakh rupees. After paying wages for three to four months, he abruptly stopped payments, leading to a dispute. When Anil was confronted about the pending payments, he allegedly started avoiding the issue. Following a complaint about bounced cheques related to security provided by Anil, the police registered a case against him under sections related to fraud. The investigation is underway.
