As Dubai is grappling with severe flooding disrupting daily life and international travel, the Amritsar-Dubai flight has been cancelled for the second consecutive day leaving passengers frustrated and inconvenienced.
Travellers expressed disappointment over the sudden cancellations and the airlines’ lack of communication. Spicejet and Air India operate on Amritsar-Dubai sector. and Many passengers said they received notifications of flight cancellation just half an hour before the scheduled departure. This last-minute notice has left numerous passengers stranded, uncertain and scrambling to make alternative travel arrangements.
Compounding the issue, several passengers had connecting flights from Dubai to destinations like Canada and other international locations. The unforeseen cancellations have thrown meticulously planned itineraries out of gear, forcing them to seek alternative travel options. Many passengers have voiced their dissatisfaction with the airline’s inadequate support and unclear guidance during this challenging time.
In an attempt to address the situation, the airline has offered refunds to affected passengers. While this gesture is appreciated, it falls short of meeting the passengers’ immediate needs, as many are urgently seeking to rebook flights to maintain their travel plans in the coming days.
