#ALLEGED PORN RACKET: SAGARIKA WAS ASKED TO POSE NUDE FOR AN AUDITION

A Mumbai based model-actress Sagarika Shona Suman has alleged that she was approached several times by the arrested accused Umesh Kamat in the porn racket case. Umesh used to allegedly work for a leading Bollywood actress’s businessman husband. Sagarika has made serious allegations against Umesh and has informed about the racket of a prominent businessman. Sagarika stated to The Daily Guardian that Umesh had called in August 2020 to give work in a web series. Due to the lockdown, he asked her to audition on a video call and three people were present, one of whom kept his face hidden who could be ‘the big businessman’. Umesh asked her for a nude audition. He said that the bold scene is the demand of the web series but Sagarika refused. She claims that Umesh offered her to act in films.  Sagarika told that girls who came to find work in films are made to work in porn films in the name of bold scene shoots. They are paid for a 20–30 minute porn movie. After Umesh’s arrest, it was understood that this is a big racket. She told that this businessman runs different adult websites which Umesh Kamat used to manage. The businessman or his actress wife has not released any official statement. The probe is still on by the Mumbai Police, several models and actresses are on the radar of police.
