After discussions with BSP supremo Mayawati, the Akali Dal-BSP alliance in Punjab will jointly contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The parties will address internal disagreements through a coalition meeting. In a lengthy meeting, the BSP Punjab unit supported the decision and received directives from BSP supremo. The focus will be on four central issues in Punjab.
Mayawati provided detailed instructions after a thorough review of Punjab’s politics, emphasizing that the BSP will continue the alliance with Shiromani Akali Dal in Punjab, and the BSP will not allow any hindrance to the alliance.
The BSP will build booth committees in Punjab through cadre camps and organize a war-level campaign to strengthen the party at the block and assembly levels.
Additionally, the BSP High Command will centrally handle the distribution of Lok Sabha seats under the alliance in Punjab.
