5.5 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Ladakh, Near Kargil

On Monday, the Kargil region in Ladakh experienced a magnitude 5.5 earthquake, as reported by the National Center for Seismology (NCS). The seismic event occurred at 3:48 pm, with coordinates recorded at 33.41 N latitude and 76.70 E longitude, at a depth of 10 kilometers. As of now, there are no immediate reports of casualties or property damage.
