2024 Hyundai Alcazar Debuts In India At Rs. 14.99 Lakh: Price, Specs And Features

Hyundai India has introduced the updated 2024 Alcazar, a 7-seater SUV based on the Creta. The new model is available at an introductory price of ₹14.99 lakh for petrol variants and ₹15.99 lakh for diesel variants. The facelift aims to rejuvenate the SUV’s sales and compete against rivals like the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, and MG Hector.

Design Updates

The 2024 Alcazar features a bold design overhaul. The front now sports a robust look with H-shaped LED DRLs, a large grille, and a wide scuff plate. New 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, larger rear quarter windows, and black-painted cladding enhance its side profile. The rear end has been revamped with a new spoiler, redesigned bumper, and connected LED taillamps with sequential indicators.

Dimensions

The updated Alcazar measures 4,560 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,710 mm in height. It is 60 mm longer, 10 mm wider, and 35 mm taller than its predecessor, while maintaining the same wheelbase of 2,760 mm.

Interior and Features

Inside, the Alcazar boasts a redesigned dashboard borrowed from the facelifted Creta. The cabin features new upholstery in noble brown and haze navy, giving it a premium feel. The 6-seater variant includes ventilated second-row seats and unique thigh extenders. Key features comprise a power walk-in device, 8-way power-adjustable front seats, digital key with NFC, over 70 connected car features, 270+ voice commands, a 10.25-inch infotainment display, auto-dimming IRVM, 6 airbags, Level-2 ADAS, and an 8-speaker Bose sound system.

Specifications and Mileage

The 2024 Alcazar offers two powertrain options: a 1.5L diesel engine producing 115 hp and 250 Nm, and a 1.5L turbo-petrol engine generating 160 hp and 253 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or automatic for diesel, and a 7-speed DCT or 6-speed manual for petrol. The SUV also features three drive modes (Normal, Eco, Sport) and three traction modes (Snow, Mud, Sand).

Color Options

The 2024 Alcazar is available in 9 colors, including 8 mono-tone options such as Robust Emerald Matte, Titan Grey Matte, and Fiery Red. A dual-tone option in Atlas White with a Black Roof is also offered.
