2 men open fire at police in Chandigarh, held

Two ‘suspicious’ men have been arrested by the Chandigarh Police on being questioned and opened fire at the police personnel on Thursday. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ram Gopal, Chandigarh said, the accused have been identified as Dilip Singh and Sewa Singh. A 32-bore pistol and cartridges have been recovered by the police from the accused. “Luckily, nobody has been injured,” DSP Gopal said.
