2 dozen leaders join Congress, leaving BJP, JJP and other parties

Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda has stated that the BJP-JJP government wants to push out Haryana youth out of government jobs as it is deliberately framing rules that are designed to deprive Haryana youth of jobs. Reacting to a series of issues from the government’s decision to eliminate Haryana GK from HPSC exam, protest by Patwari and Kanungo and reducing the weight of urea bags, on the occasion of joining of more than two dozen leaders in the party, he said the anti-Haryana mindset of the government is completely exposed.

Those who joined Congress include Vedpal Bhanwala (former president, Julana Vidhan Sabha (JJP), former president, Panchayati Raj, Jind, former sarpanch, Siwah), Devendra Aryanagar (former HJK candidate, Badhra), Baljeet (district councilor), Rajkumar Kanodia ( LJP), Silka Ram Pauli (Former Block President, Julana, JJP), Sumer Singh Sabarwala, Vice President SC Cell Jind (JJP), Subedar Naresh Meharda, Former Vidhan Sabha President, SC Cell, Julana (JJP), Rajesh Dalal, Former Vidhan Sabha Vice President , Julana (JJP), Subedar Azad Balmiki, former General Secretary, Jind (JJP), Ganga Das (Secretary, Vikas Manch Julana), Rohtas Ramkali, former Vice President, Farmers Cell, Jind (JJP), Anil, former President, Sports Cell, Julana (JJP), Captain Ghimana, Former Secretary, Jind (JJP), Maninder Bhanwala, Former Vice President, Kisan Cell (JJP), Rohtash (Sarpanch, Nandgarh), Mahesh Yogi Ji Maharaj, Samundra Malik, Former Vice President, Julana (JJP) , Parmendra (Member Block Committee Ward No. 21, Julana), Pala Ram, Head Balmiki Samaj Baraha (Tapa), Moharpal Tanwar (BJP), Kashish (JJP), Jai (BJP), Amit (JJP), Prince Yadav (BJP) ), Mohit Tanwar (BSP), Mohit Jat(BSP), Lucky (AAP), Manpreet (AAP), Pawan Jangda (BJP), Mohit Jangda (INLD), Satyavrat (Sarpanch), Rampal (former Sarpanch, Ramgarh), Naresh. Coach (former Sarpanch, Radhana), Ramkumar, Rajkumar, Sher Singh, Naresh, Ajit, Naresh, Mahtab, Sanjay, Dhan Singh, Narendra, Amit, Pradeep, Manoj, Gulab, Ashok, Attar Singh, Pradeep and Raunak, Suman.

Further commenting on the syllabus issued by HPSC for the recruitment of Assistant Environmental Engineer, Hooda said the BJP-JJP government wants to completely deprive the Haryanvi youth of jobs. “That is why rules are being deliberately made for government recruitment to benefit the youth of other states. Haryana GK has been completely eliminated from the syllabus by HPSC. This policy is being adopted to continuously give preference to non-Haryana youth in HSSC and HPSC recruitments. A similar conspiracy is taking place with Haryana youth in every recruitment from SDO, BDPO, Lecturer to Assistant Environmental Engineer,” he said.

“Now HPSC has given permission to apply for ACS exam also to those candidates who do not have Haryana domicile. Without domicile, they can declare themselves to be a resident of Haryana. Earlier, BJP-JJP had changed the rules of Haryana domicile and reduced the condition of 15 years to 5 years. All these policies are being made by the government so that only Haryana youth are not selected for the jobs in Haryana, whereas almost all states make policies to give preference to local youth in their jobs,” he said.

Regarding the ongoing protest by Patwar and Kanungo organization, the Leader of Opposition said the government has cheated them. “Last time, the government had assured to accept their demands. But it was not implemented. For this reason, Patwari and Kanungo are continuously protesting since January 3. This is disrupting government work and the public is facing problems. It is important that the government keeps its promises to the employees and fulfils their demands,” he said.

Hooda said this government has become the enemy of every class including employees, soldiers and farmers. “The government has cheated farmers once again. The weight of urea bags has been reduced from 45 to 40 kg. Whereas the farmer will have to pay the same price as before. Earlier the weight of the 50 kg bag was reduced to 45 kg. The government is continuously increasing the costs of farmers by increasing the rates of fertilizers, seeds, medicines and petrol and diesel. Due to this, farming has become a loss-making deal,” he stated.
