18k people to be tested for corona before President’s visit to Kevadia

The Covid-19 epidemic is currently raging in Gujarat. Amid all this, President Ram Nath Kovind will be in the state for a two-day visit to Kevadia in Narmada this month. And as a precautionary measure, the administration plans to do Covid-19 tests on 18,000 people in Kevadia.

President Kovind will be at Kevadia from November 25-27. The event will be held at the “Statue of Unity” where several other important dignitaries will be present to grace the occasion.

Sources said that when President Kovind would be visiting Kevadia for two days, the administration would leave nothing to chance and conduct corona tests of as many as 18,000 people. All the staff will undergo the test prior the President’s visit. The health department has ordered 10,000 rapid test kits for corona testing. The Speakers Conference is scheduled to be held from November 25 to 27 at Kevadia.
