17 Congress ministers shown the door by voters

In these elections, there has been significant public anger against the ministers of the Congress government in Rajasthan. The situation has reached a point where out of the 25 ministers in the state who contested elections, 17 have been shown the way home by the public. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s trusted Shanti Dhariwal also barely managed to save his seat from Kota North. On the other hand, Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas also had to face a decisive defeat. Although the Rashtriya Lok Dal candidate and minister Subhash Garg, contesting under the Congress alliance, secured victory.
Not only this, even the Speaker of the Assembly, Dr C.P. Joshi, lost in the elections. Along with him, Medical Minister Parsadi Lal Meena also couldn’t save his seat. On the other hand, Minister Shakuntala Rawat remained in the third position. It is worth mentioning that this fact had also surfaced in the Congress survey that the ministers might face significant dissatisfaction in their constituencies. Despite this, Congress gave tickets to the ministers, and they had to face defeat.

Sacked Minister Rajendra Gudha also lost
Meanwhile, Minister Rajendra Gudha, who was sacked in the Lal Dairy case by the Congress government, also could not save his seat. He also had to face a decisive defeat. Gudha had contested on the ticket of the Shiv Sena. There, Congress’s Bhagwana Ram Saini secured victory. Gujjar is in the third position, losing by more than 10,000 votes.

Shanti Dhariwal from Kota North, Subhash Garg from Bharatpur, Mahendrajit Malviya from Bagidora, Tikaram Jully from Alwar Rural, Arjun Singh Bamaniya from Banswara, Ashok Chandna from Hindoli, Brijendra Ola from Jhunjhunu, Murari Lal Meena from Dausa were able to save their seats.
