The prestigious event took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

The movie triumphed over strong contenders such as ‘American Fiction’, ‘Anatomy of a Fall’, ‘Barbie’, ‘The Holdovers’, ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’, ‘Maestro’, ‘Past Lives’, ‘Poor Things’, and ‘The Zone of Interest’. Nolan’s biopic dominated the awards ceremony by securing victories in the categories of Best Supporting Actor, Best Leading Actor, Best Film Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Original Score, and Best Directing.

The biopic, which unfolds during World War II, traces the journey of Oppenheimer, renowned as the “Father of the Atomic Bomb,” as he grapples with the realization that testing the atomic bomb could potentially trigger a catastrophic event by igniting the atmosphere and annihilating the world. Nonetheless, he proceeds to push the button despite this understanding.
