One year has been completed on 5 August of the bhoomi pujan done for the construction of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya. The Daily Guardian has exclusive pictures in which it can be seen how much work has been done so far for the construction of the temple. 

On completion of one year of the bhoomi pujan for the construction of Shri Ram Temple, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra tweeted from the official Twitter handle and said: “The construction of the Bhavya Mandir at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi is going on at a fast pace. It will be ready soon and the doors would be opened for all devotees for darshan.” 

One year ago, on this day, the bhoomi pujan for a temple dedicated to Ram took place. The historic moment was after struggle for hundreds of years. Words fail to do justice to the support and blessings received from millions of devotees, it added. On the anniversary of bhoomi pujan of the Ram temple, along with offering special bhog to Ramlala, new clothes have also been made. Acharya Satyendra Das, the Chief Priest of Ramjanmabhoomi, said that on behalf of Manish Tripathi, a yellow cloth made of silk handloom cloth has been presented to Ramlala for the anniversary of the bhoomi pujan.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Ayodhya on Thursday on the first anniversary of Bhoomi Pujan of Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The CM first reached the Ram Janmabhoomi complex. He participated in the religious rituals organized to mark the completion of one year of Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of the temple of Ram Lalla and had darshan of Ram Lalla. He participated in the aarti and performed the puja.

Ram MandirTrustee Dr Anil Mishra told The Daily Guardian that 60 percent work of filling the foundation of Ayodhya Ram temple has been completed. The target is to complete the foundation filling work for the construction of Ram temple by September. So far, 24 layers have been constructed. The work of construction of all 44 layers will be completed by September, immediately after that the work of construction of plinth will start. A large amount of field material is being used in temple construction work in Ramjanmabhoomi. The foundation is to be filled in total 44 layers, out of which about 60% or 24 layer laying work has been completed.

On 15 July, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust’s general secretary Champat Rai told The Daily Guardian: “The date has been fixed for getting darshan in Ayodhya’s grand Ram temple. In 2023, Ramlala will be established at the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple. By 2025, the vision of the Ram temple complex in the entire 70 acres will be completed. The decision has been taken in the meeting of Ram Mandir Trust in Ayodhya.” Rai had earlier said that three different types of stones would be used in the construction of the Ram temple. Different stones will be used in its base plinth, the spire, including the temple and the walls. The base plinth will be made of four lakh cubic stones of Mirzapur and the stone of Banshi Paharpur of Rajasthan will be used for the construction of the temple.
