According to reports, China’s Build Your Dreams (BYD), a recent entrant into the electric vehicle (EV) market, will introduce the Atto 3 in India on October 11.

According to earlier reports, the vehicle will be unveiled across the nation sometime between October and December, though no precise data was given.

According to recent sources, the Atto 3 would compete against vehicles like the Hyundai Kona Electric 

MG’s ZS electric car in India’s 25 lakh–35 lakh EV SUV segment after its release.

One of the largest automotive dealership chains in India, Landmark Cars, has begun opening BYD’s outlets there; the first of them is now up and running in Okhla, New Delhi.

Additionally, Landmark intends to open showrooms in Thane, Mumbai, and Noida.

In the fifth largest economy in the world, Atto 3 will be the Chinese automaker’s second entry into the passenger vehicle market.

The first, the e6 multipurpose vehicle (MPV), with a starting price of Rs 29.6 lakh, was introduced here in November 2021. (ex-showroom).

Sales of the electric vehicle have already begun in places like Australia, Singapore, and New Zealand. It was first made available in Cambodia in August.
