NEW DELHI

During a press conference at the party headquarters here, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi criticised the BJP regarding the Apple phone hacking issue. Gandhi said that he is not concerned about the government hacking or tapping his phone. This response came after several Opposition leaders, including Akhilesh Yadav, Mahua Moitra, Asaduddin Owaisi, Pawan Khera, and Rahul Gandhi, received messages from Apple warning about state-sponsored attacks on their phones. Expanding his criticism of the Modi government, Rahul Gandhi asserted that there is a monopoly of the Adani Group in India. He referred to Modi as the “soul” of Adani, drawing a parallel with an ancient story about a king whose soul resided in a parrot. In this analogy, targeting the parrot was the key to challenging the king. Rahul suggested that Modi’s soul is intertwined with Adani, and he is utilising various agencies and powers to protect him.
Rahul Gandhi clarified that he does not have personal issues with the Adani Group, but is opposed to the formation of monopolies like the Adani Group. He expressed his commitment to changing the current government’s approach and defending the “idea” of India, emphasizing that this goes beyond winning polls, and he is confident that his efforts will yield results.
