Watch: Thieves Crash Through Ceiling, Steal $150K In Bold Atlanta Heist

A group of masked robbers made off with $150,000 after breaking through the ceiling of a cash-checking business in Atlanta. Surveillance footage, recently released by the Atlanta Police Department, shows the manager of the store behind the counter as debris starts to fall from above.

Moments later, a man drops through the ceiling, followed by another who forces the woman to the ground. The two suspects then appear to instruct her to open a safe in the back room. Complying, the woman hands over the cash, which the men stuff into duffel bags. Afterward, they duct-taped her and locked her in the bathroom before fleeing.

In a crucial moment caught on camera, one of the suspects briefly lifted his ski mask while exiting through the back door, where a passerby spotted him. The incident took place on September 3 at Atlanta Check Cashers, with police arriving at the scene around 8:30 a.m.

The first suspect is described as a light-skinned Black male in his 30s, about 6 feet tall. The second suspect, described as a dark-skinned Black male with a slim build, is approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall. Witnesses reported that the suspects fled in an older model two-door pickup truck, possibly black or green, driven by a third, unidentified accomplice.
